PhD Studentship in Law and Politics at Cardiff University in UK, 2015-2016

Cardiff School of Law and Politics is offering two PhD studentships to commence in the autumn of 2015. The studentships offer full financial support (Home/EU fees and stipend) on RCUK standard terms. We seek applications from strongly qualified candidates (normally with at least a good 2:1 in law, politics or a related discipline).
Successful applicants would normally have completed a relevant masters degree containing an element of research studies training. The successful candidates will be engaged within the growing community of PhD students in Law and Politics at Cardiff.

Eligibility
Residency: This studentship is open to students of any nationality. Students classified as international for fee purposes have to self-fund the difference between home and international fees.
Academic criteria: Applicants for a studentship must have obtained, or be about to obtain, a 2.1 degree or higher in law, politics or a related discipline. Successful applicants would normally have completed a relevant masters degree containing an element of research methods training.

Coverage/Scholarship Benefits
This studentship consists of full UK/EU tuition fees, as well as a Doctoral Stipend matching UK Research Council National Minimum (£14,057 p.a. for 2015/16, updated each year).
Additional funding of the value £500 for travel, conferences and IT equipment is available.

Application Method
Candidates for the Cardiff School of Law and Politics PhD Scholarship will have to complete a research proposal form as well as the formal University online application form. All applicants should read the guidance notes provided on the Law and Politics application webpages before preparing their application.
In the first instance, you should submit a CV & Covering Letter to law-pg@cardiff.ac.uk, followed by a standard online application for postgraduate study

  1. Wonderful details. I too would be making a list of LSAT Prep Courses for my sister as she will take this test and wants my help to find a good course for her so she can get good score to get admission in best college.
