University of Queensland invites
applicant to submit application for international PhD Scholarships in the field of Civil and ChemicalEngineering. The candidate will have a
master's degree or 1st Class Honours degree or equivalent in science and
domestic applicants should be eligible for an Australian Postgraduate Award
(APA) or equivalent
The successful candidates will receive
systematic training in Biological processes, (Bio)electrochemistry, and Polymer
and Organic Chemistry, depending on the project involved. The student will
conduct detailed laboratory scale investigations to fundamentally understand
relevant processes and reveal mechanisms, pilot plant and/or field
investigations of the effectiveness of the concept and validation, and
development of a various models, depending on the project.

Eligibility
The candidate will have a master's
degree or 1st Class Honours degree or equivalent in science and domestic
applicants should be eligible for an Australian Postgraduate Award (APA) or

environmental and/or chemical engineering is desirable. International
applicants must meet the University of Queensland's English Language

Coverage/Scholarship Benefits
The base stipend will be at the rate of
AUD $30,000 per annum (2015 rate) tax-free for three years with the possibility
of a six month extension in approved circumstances.
