CADRE Fully-Funded Scholarships at University of Warwick in UK, 2016
University of Warwick of UK is offering
17 fully-funded CADRE Scholarships. Awards will be made on an annual basis for
up to 3.5 years for full-time students subject to satisfactory progress. This
is an opportunity for excellent graduates from across the globe to become part
of a vibrant doctoral Arts and Humanities research community.
CADRE scholars
are offered the chance to develop an innovative approach to interdisciplinary
research and tackle societal challenges from a humanities perspective. CADRE
aims to equip scholars with the knowledge, skills and understanding to pursue
the profession of their choice, whether in academia or in the public or private
sectors; to be informed and active citizens; and to seek to apply their
expertise to the major issues facing society today.

Application Method
Candidates
should in the first instance apply through the University’s online application system to the department of their choice,
giving full details of their research proposal and which member(s) of staff
they want to have as supervisor(s). It is important to contact the staff
concerned to secure their agreement in advance.
The scholarship applications are rated on the
basis of the candidate’s existing academic record, strength of the proposal and
institutional provision to support it, and other academic achievements, such as
grants and publications.
