Description
A post is available for enthusiastic and innovative colleague to join Psychology at the University of Southampton. The successful candidate will have, or be close to completing, a PhD in Psychology. They will have an interest in visual cognition, in particular face processing. Furthermore, they will have knowledge of, and experience with, applying formal psychological/mathematical theories to problems of face perception. Ideally, they will also have experience of psychophysical, neuropsychological, and physiological experimentation in relation to face processing.

Eligibility
- PhD or equivalent professional qualifications and experience in experimental psychology/neuroscience or related discipline.
- Experience of conducting human experimental research using quantitative methods, and in particular methods associated with General Recognition Theory.
- Experience of collecting and analyzing data from computerized tests and psychophysiological.
- Experience of conducting research in clinical samples.
