Awards are available for a period of 2 years for a master level research degree and 3 years for doctoral research degrees. USC funded IPRS equivalent scholarships may also be awarded to meritorious candidates both during the annual scholarship round and outside the annual scholarship

Eligibility
To be eligible for an International Postgraduate Research Scholarship applicants must:
- be an international student
- hold a Bachelor degree with honours class II Division I, or have an equivalent level of attainment via previous study, work experience, research publications, referee's reports and other research experience; and
- recipients must maintain satisfactory progress as a full-time candidate at the University of the Sunshine Coast
