Eligibility:-A master´s degree relevant for the subject area of the project.
-The grades obtained during undergraduate studies Professional qualifications and relevant work experience relevant to the PhD project Previous publications, if any.
-Language skills – Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
-The successful applicant of the PhD scholarship must be enrolled in the LIFE Graduate School prior to employment as PhD student at KU-LIFE.
Scholarship Description: Your key tasks as a PhD fellow at LIFE are: Research – the research project will take up most of your time Teaching and dissemination Participation in PhD courses Writing articles and the PhD thesis A stay at another research institution, preferably abroad The positions are available for a 3-year period for applicants holding a relevant master´s degree or for a 4-year period for applicants who are already enrolled or are accepted to be enrolled at one of the Faculty´s master´s programmes. At the time of commencement, applicants for the 4-year period must have approximately one year of study remaining before graduating from their MSc programme.
