Eligibility:-A completed or about to be completed Ph.D. in Economics; research interest in labor/trade/growth/development – applied theory and/or empirical.
-Applicants are expected to develop a strong research record aiming at publications in international top journals.
Scholarship Description: The Department of Economics at the University of Zurich is regularly ranked as the top department in German speaking countries and among one of the top departments in Europe. With its strong focus on high quality research and with more than 20 full professorships in all fields of economics, more than 30 post-docs and assistant professors and about 60 Ph.D. students it offers a vibrant and stimulating environment for a post-doctoral researcher. The position is strongly research oriented with very limited organizational duties and teaching obligation. We offer a very competitive remuneration package with generous funding of research related activities (conference visits, data etc.).
