Eligibility:The successful applicant will have a strong background in cell and molecular biology or analytical chemistry. An interest in bioimaging, surface chemistry and/or cell signalling would be an advantage. We are looking for an enthusiastic scientist with excellent communication skills and a strong interest in working within a multidisciplinary team. The applicant must hold a Masters, Diploma or equivalent degree in science or engineering that allows direct admission for doctoral studies in Germany. The degree should include an experimental research experience of at least four months. Applications by those awaiting the award of their degree are welcome.

Scholarship Description: As a member of the Miniaturisation team your research will involve: • Using the cell microarray technology available at ISAS to quantify developmental and toxicological responses. • Use classical (bio)analytical methods to characterize the cells. • Present data at international conferences and the preparation of publications.We offer training and scientific development opportunities in an international environment and an excellent working atmosphere in a very dynamic and professional team.
