In 2011 the Berlin School of Economics and Law in cooperation with its Vietnamese partner universities have launched an offsite Master programme carried out at the Vietnamese university. The major of the Master programme is “Financial and Managerial Accounting”,

and contribute to the further development of national and internationally accepted, coherent accounting systems designed to support both the sound information of interested stakeholders and the functionality of the markets concerned in Vietnam.Under different conditions to be fulfilled, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) supported by the German Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs (AA) decided upon granting a variety of scholarships to those students, who apply for admission to a study programme provided by the Berlin School of Economics and Law.

Eligibility
Scholarships in general may be granted to applicants who meet a set of selection criteria. Essentially scholarships are only granted to those applicants who are legally enrolled in the FAMA programme.Performance related criteria (results from previous studies or, if applicable, results from the first year of the FAMA programme) will be weighted at 60%. Other indicators like selfintroduction, motivation letter and language skills are considered to contribute 40% to the overall score.
Applicants should therefore submit meaningful documents to confirm that they meet the eligibility criteria.

- Confirmation of enrolment in the Master programme (M.A.) Financial and Managerial Accounting (FAMA).
- Bachelor degree in Economics, Business Administration, Political Sciences or other/related subjects with outstanding results.
- Self-introduction of applicants (max. 1,000 referring to professional experiences and performances as well as social, cultural and/or political engagement outside their professional and academic work balance).
- English language skills (minimum of 550 TOEFL or 6.0 IELTS)
- Motivation letter (max. 1,000 words). Applicants must submit a statement of intent
- indicating why their study visit to Germany is relevant for their future career and how this may contribute to the future economic and social development of Vietnam
