Michael Kasprowicz is a former Australian test cricketer; he is also a UQ MBA student. The Michael Kasprowicz Scholarship is a 50 percent tuition fee waiver for students who undertake an approved
coursework masters program in business, economics, law or tourism at UQ. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence and attract applicants from some of the best universities in India.

- Citizens of India who normally reside in India.
- Students who have applied to UQ and who have received an unconditional offer for a relevant postgraduate Masters program.
- Students who will commence their programs at UQ in 2012.
