this important initiative rewards individuals under 35 who have demonstrated innovation and excellence in river and waterways management. Scholarship Level
Training
Eligibility
Domestic or international professionals or students aged 35 or under (at the time of entry) with at least 2 years’ experience in a river-related sector who:
- Demonstrate leadership and positive outcomes in a river-related area (e.g. a new catchment management initiative, setting up a new waterway group) or can showcase outstanding research in a water/river related field;
- If selected as a finalist, are available to attend the 15th International Riversymposium; and
- Have completed their work within the 2011 calendar year (although work could have been commenced at an earlier date)
