The Departments of Philosophy and Economics at Hamburg University invite applications for three PhD scholarships (1100 e per month, taxfree; up to three years) within the small graduate
group (kleine Graduiertengruppe) \Modelling and normative assessment of collective decisions". The earliest starting date is 1st June 2012. If suitable candidates are still in the process of nishing their Master's degree, a

later starting date can be negotiated.

Eligibility

Ideally, candidates have a Master's degree in a multidisciplinary programme in- cluding at least two of the disciplines philosophy, economics, or political theory.Candidates with degrees in one of the disciplines or any related interdisciplinary will also be considered. They should be interested in topics at the intersecti-on of economics and philosophy. They should also be interested in collaborative

and interdisciplinary research. Residency in Hamburg or in commutable distance is expected.
