Kenneth Sewards-Shaw Scholarship
The gift of Mr Kenneth Sewards-Shaw, Old Member of Lincoln College
Eligibility: candidates must be new graduate students of the College in the area of Law, History, English or Politics.
Value: £1,500 (+£500 - see below)
Duration: 1 year
Candidates should have attained a high standard in their previous academic work. Applicants must hold a place, or an offer of a place, at Lincoln College before applying. The candidate who is selected for this award will be expected to give a presentation on their work to members of the Middle and Senior Common Room at a joint seminar during their first year at Lincoln. There will be a reward of an additional £500 for doing so. Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application by July 1st of the year of application.

The Jermyn Brooks Graduate Award

Eligibility: candidates must be a new or current graduate student of the College in the Humanities, with a preference for Modern Languages.
Value: £1,000.

The Supperstone Law Scholarship
The gift of Sir Michael Supperstone QC, Old Member of Lincoln College
Eligibility: candidates must be aceepted by the University and Lincoln College to read for the postgraduate degree of BCL or MJur with an emphasis or special interest in Public Law and must demonstrate academic excellence and show promise for a successful career in the legal field.
Value: £600
Duration: 1 year

The Erich and Rochelle Friedmann Endowed Prize in Music
The gift of Professor Theodore Friedman, former Fellow of Lincoln College
Eligibility: new or current students in any discipline except Music but who have exceptional and proven musical ability.
Value: £300
Duration: 1 year
The successful candidate is expected to play a prominent part in the musical life of the College, and in particular to act, if requested, as organising secretary of the College's active Music Society. Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application by July 1st of the year of application.

Polonsky Foundation Grants for International Graduate Students
Eligibility: candidates may be new or current students and must be citizens of countries not in the EU. Successful candidates should show need of financial assistance, academic merit and the promise of being good College citizens (i.e. active in the arts, sport, student governance, etc).
Value: approximately £5,000.
Duration: 1 year, although students may re-apply for the grants.
Three Polonsky Grants are available. Applicants must hold a place, or an offer of a place, at Lincoln College before applying. Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application by July 1st of the year of application.

Menasseh Ben Israel Room Scholarship
Eligibility: Israeli graduate students in any subject gaining a place at the University and at Lincoln College, particularly graduates of the Hebrew University.
Value: a full rent subsidy for 37 weeks (worth approximately £5,000).

The Menasseh Ben Israel Room is an 'A' class room in Lincoln's High Street Quadrangle, close to the Oxford city centre and Lincoln's historic Turl Street site.

Crewe Graduate Scholarships
Eligibility: all new and current students in any subject.
Value: £5,000
Duration: 1 year in the first instance, with the possibility of re-application for renewal.
Up to nine Crewe Graduate Scholarships will be available for the academic year 2012-13. Awards will be made on the basis of both academic merit and financial need. Applicants who have been awarded, or who subsequently obtain, a fully-funded Research Studentship from a UK Research Council, or similar award, will not be eligible. Applicants must hold a place, or an offer of a place, at Lincoln College before applying. Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application by July 1st of the year of application.

Sloane Robinson Foundation Graduate Awards
Eligibility: applicants for a DPhil, MPhil, or MSt/MSc leading to a DPhil. Current Lincoln graduate students applying for a D.Phil after MSt/MSc/MPhil are also eligible.
Value: £5,000
Duration: 1 year in the first instance with the possibility of re-application for further renewal for up to two years.
Two entrance awards will be available from October 2012. Awards will be made on the basis of both academic merit and financial need. Applicants who have been awarded, or who subsequently obtain, a fully funded Research Studentship from a UK Research Council, or similar award, will not be eligible. The Hartley Bursary
The gift of Miss Alison Hartley, Old Member of Lincoln College, and Mrs Hartley.
Eligibility: new or current graduate students of Lincoln College, ordinarily resident in the UK, who are studying for a degree in any humanities subject and who are in financial need.

The Drucker Bursary
The gift of Mr Thomas Drucker, Old Member of Lincoln College.
Eligibility: one award is available for a new graduate students admitted to the University and to Lincoln College who is ordinarily resident in the Czech Republic, and who is in financial need. If no candidate meets this criterion the award may be made to any applicant admitted to read for a higher degree in law, or in social sciences, who is in financial need.
Value: £300
