It should be noted that the award of an ESSEC Excellence Scholarship cannot be cumulated with the award of another governmental or European Union Scholarship (EIFFEL, ALBAN, etc). However, until we obtain the results of other Scholarships, every ESSEC MSc in Management applicant admitted to the programme will be considered for the ESSEC Excellence Scholarship Programme.

EIFFEL Scholarships in a nutshell
The EIFFEL Excellence Scholarship Programme is funded by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It aims at attracting outstanding International students identified by French institutions of higher education.
Applications for EIFFEL scholarships are submitted by French Higher Education Institutions; therefore applications are not accepted from students themselves, or from non-French institutions.

For your information, the 2011 provisions were as follows:
• Grant duration
The EIFFEL scholarship was awarded for the duration of the course leading to the qualification mentioned in the application, provided the student fulfills each year’s academic requirements.

EIFFEL scholars received a monthly allowance of 1,181€.
In addition, the EIFFEL Programme met various expenses including return travel, health insurance, extra French language courses and cultural activities.
Scholars may also be eligible for additional accommodation allowance.

How to apply?
- Once admitted by the ESSEC MSc Programme (beginning of December 2011), you will be e-mailed a copy of the EIFFEL application file, pre-filled by ESSEC in accordance with your curriculum at ESSEC.

- The EIFFEL results will come out around mid-March 2012 and the scholarship will become effective as of the beginning of the 2012-13 academic year.
- ESSEC has planned its 1st round of admissions so that admitted International Students may apply for an EIFFEL Scholarship.
- Therefore, applications for the ESSEC MSc need to be made by October 28th 2011.
