This scholarship is awarded annually to students from Beijing Normal University (BNU) Zhuhai Campus, China, with the highest Grade Point Average (GPA), progressing to a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in The Business School and School of Design, Engineering and Computing.

Who is eligible to apply for this scholarship?

You must be resident in China at the time of application. You must also have successfully completed the relevant programmes at Beijing Normal University, China.

How much is the scholarship worth?

• 3 x £1000 payable for each academic year of the course (where an academic profile of 60% or over is achieved in continuation years). Excluding work placement and repeat years
• One award from the Business School (for a Bachelor degree course)
• Two awards from the School of Design, Engineering and Computing (one for Bachelor degree course and one for Master degree course)
• An unlimited number of Tuition Fee Scholarships offering a fee reduction of 5%.

How is this scholarship paid?

The BNU Scholarships will be paid by a reduction in tuition fee. The Tuition Fee Scholarships offer a further 5% fee reduction.

How many scholarships are awarded annually?

Three BNU Scholarships and an unlimited number of Tuition Fee Scholarships offering a 5% fee reduction.

Other information about this scholarship

• Recipients of this scholarship cannot be in receipt of any other BU scholarship
• Financial need cannot be taken into consideration

How do I apply?

There is no formal application process for this scholarship which will be automatically awarded to the applicant for September 2012 with the highest GPA and who has met all their conditions of offer by the 21 September 2012. In the event that two students have the same highest GPA score, their IELTS score will then be taken into consideration.

When will I hear if I have been successful?

The successful applicant will be notified within 4 weeks of the decision being made.
