2012 AHRC Masters Studentships at University of Exeter, UK 2012
The College of Humanities has been awarded six AHRC Masters studentships for 2012/13 (subject to confirmation of funding). The studentships will be awarded to excellent students studying for Masters programmes within the College. The awards will comprise of tuition fees and maintenance for students from the UK and full tuition fees only for students from the EU.
Who is eligible?
To be considered for an award you must be a Home/EU student applying for one of the following programmes beginning in 2012/13:
- MA Archaeology
- MA Experimental Archaeology
- MSc Bioarchaeology (Human Osteology)
- MA Classics and Ancient History (pathways available in Alternative Histories Through Art and Archaeology; Ancient Drama and Society; Hellenistic Culture; Roman Myth and History; Food and Culture in Antiquity)
- MA English Studies (pathways available in American and Atlantic Studies; Criticism and Theory; Enlightenment to Romanticism; Film Studies; Renaissance Studies; 20th Century Literature; Victorian Studies)
- MA Film Studies
- MA Theatre Practice (pathways available in Applied Theatre; Directing and Actor Training; Physical Performance and Actor Training; Playwriting and Dramaturgy; Staging Shakespeare)
- MA Translation
How to apply
To be considered for the awards you must do the following:
- Apply for a place on one of the Masters programmes listed by 31 January 2012
- Apply for a Masters studentship by completing the AHRC Masters Studentship application form, and submitting it to the College of Humanities Graduate School Office by 31 January 2012
- Your Higher Education (ie: Bachelors or equivalent) degree transcripts should be submitted as part of your university application form
- In addition you must also ensure that your referees email their references to the Postgraduate Administrator at humanities-pgadmissions@exeter.ac.uk by 31 January 2012.
