Eligibility:
M.Sc./ MSc. (Ag.)/ M.Tech in Environmental Science/ Microbiology/ Botany/ Environmental Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology with Ist Division in Master and bachelor level with high academic attainment. CSIR/UGC/ ICAR –NET/GATE qualified candidates or candidates having working experience in handling of microbial cultures and other microbiological techniques/ various aspects of functional plant biology/ soil biology/field experiments with agricultural crops etc. will be given preference.

Scholarship Description: The candidate should not be more than 25 years’ of age on 1st April 2011. However, relaxation in the age limit up to three years may be considered in the case of applicants who are suitably qualified and have Research/Training/teaching experience. The tenure of project will be two years primarily (extendable for third year if approved by CST, UP). The above post is purely temporary and will be terminated with one month’s notice. The terms and conditions of the appointment shall be governed according to the Regulation 1988 issued by CST, UP containing General Information and Guidelines for Award of Research Assistantship and Grant-in-aid.
