Wellbeing of Women Awards by National Birthday Trust Fund, UK 2012
Wellbeing of Women awards a minimum of ten bursaries of £1000 each towards the expenses of medical and midwifery student electives every year. The bursaries are part funded by the National Birthday Trust Fund, which has supported perinatal research since 1935, but now supports broader areas of medical training. The fund is administered by Wellbeing of Women. Students studying in the UK and Eire who are going on a formal elective between January 2012 and June 2013 and whose projects are within the areas of obstetrics, gynaecology, neonatology (but not paediatrics) or midwifery are invited to apply using the application form available here and attaching a copy of their CV.
Please email the completed application form, incorporating your CV, to pmatusavage.wellbeingofwomen@rcog.org.uk , and send an original signed version by post to: Philip Matusavage, Research Grants Manager, Wellbeing of Women, 27 Sussex Place, Regent’s Park, London, NW1 4SP, both to be received by 3pm on Friday 7th October 2011.
Applicants will be notified of the outcome in January 2012. Successful applicants will be asked to write a report describing their experiences.
