Eligibility:
-The post requires a committed, enthusiastic and creative individual who is seeking an opportunity to establish an independent research group.
-The successful applicant will have a Ph.D. and significant post doctoral experience in a discipline relevant to the mission of the Centre.
-The post holder should have extensive experience of relevant model systems including cell, tissue and animal models with evidence of an appreciation of the translational potential of their research.
-The post holder is expected to have good organizational and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work independently and to prioritise tasks appropriately and willingness to carry out routine tasks are important.
-Experience of managing a project and of supervision of staff or students is essential.
-Some experience of knowledge transfer (including intellectual property management)

Scholarship Description: Applications are invited for a Senior Research Fellow in Reproductive Health to plan and lead a programme of high quality research relevant to one of the core themes of the Centre including management of technical staff and resources, with the aim of developing a research portfolio and achieving publication of research outcomes in high impact journals.
This post is a fixed term appointment for 2 years and during which the post holder will be expected to obtain independent funding in order to continue their research within the Centre.
