Walter Jones Scholarships for Undergraduate Studies at University of Canterbury, New Zealand

These scholarships were endowed in 2000 by the Carlisle Charitable Trust to support undergraduate students in the Science Faculty to complete their degrees who by reason of financial difficulty may not otherwise do so. In 2009 Mrs W Jones on behalf of the Carlisle Trust requested the name be changed in honour of Professor Walter Jones.
Eligibility Be a NZ citizen enrolled full-time in the final year of a BSc degree or the penultimate year or final year of a BSc(Hons) degree.
Candidates must have at least a grade point average of B+ (6.0) over the previous course history.
