Eligibility Criteria
Applications will be considered from applicants who are/have:
- An Australian citizen or a permanent resident
- Enrolled or intending to enrol in an accredited postgraduate nursing course that results in a nationally recognised and accredited qualification in emergency or critical care nursing on either a full-time or part-time basis
- Enrolled as a full-time or part-time student in an accredited/approved Australian entry level nursing course
- A registered nurse whose current area of professional practice is outside of an emergency department or who wants to enhance their experience in an emergency department
Selection Criteria
Scholarships will be awarded on the recommendation of a selection committee and will be based on how you address the following criteria:
- Your demonstrated knowledge of contemporary issues in emergency nursing
- Discuss your ambitions to promote and aid emergency nursing in the future and
- How this placement will contribute to your ambitions and understanding of emergency department nursing within Australia.
Value of scholarship
There are at least 50 scholarships available to be awarded. Scholarships are worth up to $23,000.
