PhD Scholarship in Interface Science at University of Sydney, Australia
A full-time postgraduate scholarship is available for a highly qualified candidate with an honours degree in physical chemistry, or physics of surfaces to undertake research studies leading to a PhD degree in Chemistry. The objective of the research project is to explore the wetting, structural, and interfacial properties of nanostructured surfaces with superhydrophobic properties.
Applicants must have at least an Honours degree in Chemistry or Physics (or equivalent) and must have demonstrated skills in the areas of interface science and wettability. Applicants must be Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or New Zealand citizens.
The scholarship is valued at $27,651 per annum (tax exempt) and may be renewed for up to three years, subject to satisfactory progress.
