he Erasmus Mundus Action 2 (EMA2) is a co-operation and mobility scheme in the area of higher education co-operation launched by Europe Aid cooperation Office and implemented by the Executive Agency Education, Audiovisual and Culture (EACEA).

EMA2 LOT 11/Strand 1 – EMA2 Lot 11 – ASIA

Lot 11 – ASIA is a partnership of 6 European and 14 universities from Afghanistan, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Maldives, Philippines, Thailand and North Korea with ample experience in international co-operation. The mobility scheme proposed for the project foresees a mobility of students and academic staff of 115 persons within the consortium. Mobility takes place only from Asian countries to Europe.

The exchanges will be organised for:

* Undergraduates

* Masters and Doctorates

* Post docs and academic staff

The partnership will reach vulnerable groups, with little access to conventional means of calls for mobility, due to their refugee condition, or to difficult social and economic circumstances, through their partner institutions and the networks to which they belong.
